Sommer! Herrlich! Aber 31 Grad? Das lähmt uns alle! Nicht so die Welpen. Sie genießen ihr schattiges Gehege im Garten! Sie toben herum, spielen miteinander, schaukeln auf der roten Schaukel und rotten sich dann unter der Quitte zum Schläfchen zusammen.
Mir gefällt das auch gut! Ich muss ja auf die Welpen aufpassen. Und so sitze ich im Schatten am Ställchen, schaue den Welpen zu, lese ein wenig, versorge die großen Hunde und die Kleinen – zupfe ein wenig im Garten – und lasse es mir gutgehen!
Inzwischen sucht nur noch Earl Grey eine Familie. Er ist derjenige, der da so vorwitzig aufpasst, dass keiner ihm den Top-Platz zwischen Quitte und Zaun streitig macht.
